On the east side of O'ahu, you'll find Kailua, known for it's beautiful, white sand beaches. This neighborhood is about 20 minutes from Downtown Honolulu via the Pali Highway and is a great alternative to "town" living.
If you love an active lifestyle, Kailua is a perfect place to call home. You'll often see bikers and runners in the morning and the beaches are great for swimming, kayaking, paddling, and wind surfing! Much of this neighborhood is even within walking distance to the beach.
Kailua Town is ultra convenient with a Whole Foods Market, Target, UFC Gym, and many other shops and boutiques. You'll never have to leave the neighborhood!
